There are two ways to participate in a MAP Negotiation Workshop. You can attend a Public Workshop, or schedule a Private Workshop for your company.
The investment for a two-day Public Workshop is based on the number of people registered at one time. You can register just one person or as many people as you need to become great negotiators.
The Public Workshop includes: online pre-workshop preparation modules and post-course reinforcement modules, and all training materials. A light breakfast, snacks, and lunch are provided on both days of the workshop.
If you are an individual or work with a small team that would like to participate in a MAP Negotiation Workshop, then a Public Workshop is the best option for you. Public Workshops are a great way to network with individuals from other companies who are all looking to sharpen their negotiation skills. If you want to train a group of at least 12 people at your company and prefer a program that is tailored to your organization, then a Private Workshop is best for you. Our facilitators will travel to you!
MAP Negotiation Public Workshops are open to anyone—individuals, small business owners, executives, salespeople, procurement professionals—who is interested in becoming a great negotiator. People from companies large and small, from a variety of industries, are likely to be in any session. This mix of participants means a very engaging and frequently enlightening discussion of negotiation challenges. It offers you many different perspectives, and a window into the thinking of people you negotiate with in many different roles.
Public Workshops run from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm on the first day and 8:30 am to 5:00 pm on the second day.
If you are registered for a session but can't attend, MAP Negotiation must be notified at least seven working days before the session of any cancellations or transfers. Contact us by email at info@mapnegotiation.com or by calling (423) 394-5631. Failure to notify us will result in a charge for full payment of the workshop fee. Prior to seven days before the workshop you may cancel your registration and receive a full refund (less a registration fee of $50), or transfer to another scheduled session within 12 months. You may substitute someone to take your place if desired. Please notify MAP Negotiation with any substitutions prior to the session date.
The investment for a two-day Private Workshop for a single organization is $977.00 per person (with a minimum of 12 participants required), plus travel expenses for the program facilitator. In addition, there is a facilitation fee of $6880 for each session. The Private Workshop includes: online pre-workshop preparation modules and post-course reinforcement modules, the Negotiation MAP planning form, and all training materials for the workshop. The facilitation will be tailored to address your company-specific needs through a pre-workshop call with the facilitator, and a post-workshop call will be scheduled to review outcomes.
For companies that want to customize their Private Workshop to address industry- or company-specific negotiations, a variety of customization options are available. Customization may include client-specific case studies and skill practices, additional topics, changes to the Negotiation MAP planning form, and facilitation tailored to address your company-specific needs. The investment for participants in a customized two-day Private Workshop is $977.00 per person (with a minimum of 12 participants required), plus travel expenses for the program facilitator. In addition, there is a facilitation fee of $6880 for each session. The investment for customization of program materials is determined on a case-by-case basis, and a quote will be provided.
